Pinterest API Integration

This policy describes how GENA processes data in connection with its integration with the
Pinterest API (Pinterest API v5), used to support AI-driven fashion trend analysis within the
GENA platform.

2. SCOPE OF THIS POLICY
This policy covers data accessed through GENA's connection to the Pinterest API. It does not
replace a full product privacy policy covering every feature of the GENA platform; it is scoped
to the Pinterest integration specifically, for the purpose of Pinterest's Developer app review.
3. WHAT DATA WE ACCESS VIA PINTEREST
- We only access data belonging to the Pinterest business account that our organization has
explicitly connected via OAuth 2.0 (Pinterest API Trial / Standard access).
- We do not access, scrape, or store data belonging to any other Pinterest user, account, or
board that has not been explicitly connected by our organization.
- Data accessed may include: boards, pins, and trend/interest data associated with the
connected account, used solely to inform internal fashion trend analysis.
- We do not collect personal data about individual Pinterest users, followers, or the public.
4. HOW WE USE THIS DATA
- Solely for internal fashion trend analysis, to support AI-generated capsule collection
recommendations within the GENA platform (e.g. identifying rising styles, colors, and
categories relevant to our organization's design work).
- Not used for advertising, individual profiling, or any purpose unrelated to trend analysis.
- Not sold, licensed, or redistributed to third parties.
- Not combined with personal data from other sources to build profiles of individuals.
5. STORAGE AND RETENTION
- Data is stored on AWS infrastructure in the eu-central-1 (Frankfurt, EU) region.
- Data is retained only as long as needed to support trend-analysis functionality, or until
the connected Pinterest account is disconnected, whichever comes first.
- Data is deleted upon disconnection of the Pinterest account, or upon a verified deletion
request (see Section 7).
6. LEGAL BASIS (GDPR)
Processing is carried out in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation
(Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

Where applicable, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data,
